The goal of the Centers is to encourage and enhance math and science instruction as a means for students to enjoy, explore, and investigate their worlds as problem solvers and critical thinkers. Staff development, access to loaned and consumable instructional materials, technical assistance, student programs, access to extensive professional libraries, and a site for teacher-to-teacher networking are among the services offered to all K-12 Science and Math teachers in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
