+PLUS+ Classroom Demonstrations provide a rare opportunity to observe teachers using innovative techniques in a classroom setting, followed by collegial dialogue about teaching strategies, classroom environment, teacher-student and student interactions, curriculum and assessment. The +PLUS+ coordinators identify prospective demonstration teachers and facilitate the professional dialogues with an emphasis on how the activity demonstrates the philosophy of the California Mathematics Framework and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Curriculum and Evaluation Standards. Participants benefit through the accquisition of new teaching techniques. Call for registration deadlines. Times: morning and afternoon
