Humanitas

Humanitas’ 44 small learning communities serve more than 13,000 students and nearly 500 teachers at 26 high schools in LAUSD. Students in the Humanitas program spend three to four years with the same group of teachers and fellow students. Teams of Humanitas teachers from different disciplines in the same school work together to develop engaging, high-quality, interdisciplinary lessons structured around themes that meet state standards and integrate the arts while improving student academic achievement and graduation rates.
