Global Studies Thematic Units
The following thematic units were created by teachers working in teams within the Humanitas Network of the Los Angeles Unified School District, as part of a Global Studies Curriculum Initiative:

"The Middle East; Water and Life," written by Phyllis Hayashibara of Venice High School and Tim Henderson of Palisades High School.
"The Caribbean: A History of Migration and Personal Stories," written by Donna Hill of Cleveland Humanities Magnet High School and Alan Wharhaftig of Fairfax High School.
